About the Event

Inspired by ACS GCIPR priorities (2006, updated 2018)

In response to growing concerns over environmental degradation, the world has seen a decisive shift towards sustainable and eco-friendly solutions. Within the scientific community, this movement has fueled a renewed commitment to integrating Green Chemistry principles into industrial practice—most notably in the pharmaceutical sector. To advance this vision, the American Chemical Society (ACS) Green Chemistry Institute Pharmaceutical Roundtable (GCIPR) published a set of strategic research priorities in 2006, later updated in 2018, to accelerate the adoption of green and sustainable approaches across the pharmaceutical landscape. Building on this momentum, we are hosting a scientific gathering that combines a 1.5-day hands-on workshop with a 2.5-day international conference. This unique event will convene students, researchers, academics, and industry leaders from around the world to exchange ideas, present pioneering research, and explore transformative technologies centered on Green and Sustainable Organic Processes. The programme will highlight cutting-edge innovations, scalable methodologies, and practical applications that reduce environmental impact while improving the efficiency and safety of chemical synthesis.
