Bachelor of Design (B. Des) Program at SNIoE is a unique program envisaged to prepare Design leaders capable of addressing the multi-dimensional complex problems of the 21st century, contributing towards a more sustainable future. It adopts a Human-Centered approach to Design imparting trans-disciplinary education with a balance of courses in Social Sciences, Technology, and Design. Having mentoring from Industry and academia, the students get exposed to real-world problems through hands-on exercises, Industry projects, and mandatory internships with Industrial start-ups and NGOs. The 4-year program has choice-based streaming in Product System Design, Visual Communication, and Experience Design with an option for upgradation to a 5-year Integrated B. Des. –M. Des. degree. The program has been formulated to meet the requirements of society and Industry to ensure sustainable development at large.
