The School of Management and Entrepreneurship (SoME) at SNIoE was established in 2014 with the goal of developing into a premier business school located in India but serving the world. It has been built painstakingly from the ground up – recruiting both established and high potential faculty from top educational institutions; investing in the latest educational technology and infrastructure such as financial trading, innovation prototyping and ‘digital experience’ labs; and establishing a deep student-centric foundation for advanced experiential learning, incubation and entrepreneurship. Given its association with Babson College, recently rated as the #1 entrepreneurship program in the world, SoME has a special focus on entrepreneurship in both programs including opportunities to spend a semester at its overseas partner campuses.

Shiv Nadar IoE’s multidisciplinary curriculum reflects University’s belief that multidisciplinary thinking leads to newer possibilities. Going beyond the traditional silo-based departments, our curriculum is structured to provide options to students in taking courses across disciplines of Engineering, Humanities & Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences. This enables BMS students to pursue career opportunities traditionally limited to STEM students.
The Venture Lab™ is a first-of-its-kind academic project in India that has been carefully curated to provide BMS students with an incubated environment of venture creation. The only way to learn the business - is by DOING Business. Student teams ideate, experiment, and execute business models around problems picked from everyday life, with funding support from the institution based on idea promise and potential. Spread over a year and having 10 academic credits, TVL is the signature component of the BMS program and is executed to foster an entrepreneurial mindset.
The BMS program pioneered the concept of two internships in the undergraduate curriculum: one in the social sector, and the other in the business sector. Our students develop a sense of engagement & sustainable business practices through these internships. This has been done with a focus on nurturing contextually relevant, socially-conscious leaders of tomorrow.
As a research-focused University, 'OUR' is SNIoE's flagship offering to undergraduate students for developing a foundational understanding of how research is conducted in various disciplines. The OUR program enables a deeper understanding of the research process and an aptitude for problem-solving.
